Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) sebagai asisten belajar dalam meningkatkan pemahaman materi mahasiswa melalui strategi cognitive scaffolding. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 73 responden pelajar dan mahasiswa di Indonesia. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas, normalitas, dan Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test dengan bantuan IBM SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 17 dari 20 item pernyataan dinyatakan valid dan instrumen memiliki reliabilitas sangat tinggi dengan nilai Cronbach’s Alpha sebesar 0,906. Uji normalitas menunjukkan data tidak berdistribusi normal sehingga digunakan analisis non-parametrik. Hasil uji Wilcoxon memperoleh nilai signifikansi p < 0,001 yang menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara faktor penggunaan AI dan dampak hasil penggunaan AI terhadap pemahaman materi mahasiswa. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa Generative AI, khususnya ChatGPT, efektif membantu proses belajar melalui personalisasi pembelajaran, umpan balik real-time, dan peningkatan pemahaman konsep secara bertahap.
