Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis bagaimana self-efficacy dan outcome expectations memengaruhi career action melalui peran mediasi career choice intention, serta menguji perbedaan hubungan struktural berdasarkan pengalaman magang. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksplanatori melalui secondary analysis with an extended analytical model. Data berasal dari 197 mahasiswa dan dianalisis menggunakan PLS-SEM melalui SmartPLS 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self-efficacy berpengaruh positif terhadap career choice intention dan career action, sedangkan outcome expectations berpengaruh positif terhadap career choice intention tetapi tidak berpengaruh langsung secara signifikan terhadap career action. Career choice intention menjadi prediktor langsung terkuat terhadap career action dan berperan sebagai mediator parsial komplementer pada hubungan self-efficacy dengan career action, serta sebagai indirect-only mediator pada hubungan outcome expectations dengan career action. Analisis multi-kelompok menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan pada hubungan struktural utama antara mahasiswa yang telah dan belum mengikuti magang. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa perkembangan karier mahasiswa mengikuti proses dari career beliefs menuju career choice intention dan selanjutnya career action, sementara status magang saja belum cukup untuk membedakan mekanisme tersebut.
